Sorry... should have clarified:
Randomly Introduced Damage or in other words scratches or swirls that are not uniform with the rest of the damage on a car. For the mostpart swirls look pretty uniform, like a pattern almost... RID will be that random area where there is a straight scratch or line from something being rubbed on the paint, a purse rubbing against a door in a parking lot, etc.
