I would just have to convince the wife... She like to keep it "looking" stock. You would not believe the crap I took about the springs but she loves it. I just put my foot down and said I was doing it and didnt care what she said... she said OK but if she didnt like it I had to reinstall the OEM springs. I was OK with that b/c I knew she'd like it!
Anyhow, I would only do it when I need new tires. I don't like the idea of breaking down tires then remounting them. I have had bad luck in the past with this so I always save my wheel work for when I need new wheels. Back in ohhh 2001ish? I had those C5 wheels powder coated (not black chrome) and it was about $50 a wheel... has the price changed much and how much an increase is chrome and is it actual the 3 layer chrome dip like regualr chrome wheels or is it just a single layer powderr coat that looks like black chrome? I would need to come check something they did out. Only thing is, on the other hand, I am kind of anti coating the factory wheels. If I am going to go black chrome, I want a sweeter wheel with a nice lip... I am about a year off needing tires at least so no rush... I have almost 14,000 miles in the last year and the tires look amazing. I guess driving like a girl has its advantages sometimes. Oh and I am up to burn out #3. I did a small one the other day... in front of a cop thankfully he didnt see me!

hey, any day now, I may have new rims on the car...hehehehe. I pray you don't have to go around with the fun I have so far, with a set of rims.
okay, maybe today!! I had to work late on Wed., didn't get it done. Stopped by the shop yesterday and they were a man down and backed up a mile and they asked if I could bring it in tomorrow. I said sure, it's only been like the 12th century since I have been trying to get this all worked out, what is one more day. So today, if I can get off work on time, the finally rim will be mounted.
