I don't know about smoking the Vette GS, its no slouch. Even if the Z28 is alittle faster than the CTS-V it wouldn't smoke the GS considering the CTS-V is slower to begin with. The Z28 shouldn't be that much lighter either.
2010 Vette GS:
3.9 sec 0-60 mph /
12.2 sec @117mph 1/4 mile

I anticipate the Z28 being faster than the CTS-V, but even if it is I wouldn't say it is going to smoke the GS Vette.
