I have been looking at GFX photos in this forum and it seems quite a few GM GFX have the original SS beveled tips so it seems most of the dealerships are not cutting the exhaust as the kit recommends. I would think the flush "non-beveled" tip may look better than the bevel, but if you do not study it, leaving the bevel is not something that sticks out like a sore thumb.

Yeah it just doesn't look right IMO with the tips sticking out like that. It's actually pretty easy to do yourself, but you need the covers that come with the GFX kit so they're rounded out after you cut the muffler tips. I think the whole point of the GFX bezels was to not see the exhaust tips. Looks a lot better when it's installed right like so. Even with aftermarket kits with the huge tips, if you really want the GFX to fit right just trim the tips a few inches.
