no clue. don't know why it isn't offered. some people have to drive their cars in the winter and just don't get the choice of switching to the 4x4. i think it should at least be an option for everyone as well.
on that note, i will only need summer tires anyways...living in south texas, it does not get that bad that we need snow tires, etc.
