I did, but I must say that you have to be careful unhooking the air bag and other steering wheel wires (if you break or crack the connector, it will be really expensive to replace the clockspring coil). I unhooked my battery and let it sit for 30 mins (just being extra safe working around the air bag), and make sure the wheel doesn't turn when you are changing it.
