Update ! So after much searching, I was turned down by 7 replies via internet quotes, 13 direct requests via telephone, and around 8 refusals by email responses. I was desperate to find a broker or agent willing to "listen" and go to one of their underwriters that they knew would listen also. A Light Bulb goes on in my head, the name of an old aquaintance comes to mind through whom I had insurance with many years ago but I recall seeing that his little one office business had grown to eight offices throughout southern ON! I called him, he was happy to hear from me of course. I spent a half hour reminiscing before I even mentioned why I called. He took my info, hung up, called back in twenty minutes with a quote! Wow ! "North Waterloo Farmers Mutual" is one of a smaller group of insurance company set up in the past to provide farms with fair insurance coverage. I am paying a premium for the coverage but only to the tune of another $40 month on top of the $97 monthly thru Meloche Monnex. Get this though, my property insurance went down $30 a month !! Worked out pretty good for me. Jeannie, however, sees her premium increase by $25 monthly....... we are looking for better for her but she wont see multi product and multi vehicle discounts. Anyways, keep my new find in mind if you are in Ontario and require coverage for your Camaro with Performance Mods !!
