Well the OP said he had his replaced by the dealer, and seems like it's definately a known issue. I can see it starting to look worn after some years, but I've had mine for only 2 weeks to the day and it already looks like a 400lb guy's been jumping on the seat for a couple years. And I'm very careful about how I get in and out of it. I got leather because I wanted nice, instead I got "looks like crap". And I noticed it within a couple days of buying the car and it's only getting worse. It's not an indentation that will return to normal if you leave it, the leather's all stretched and wobbly. Just made some rounds in the parking lot, I've got the newest, most expensive car in the lot, and my seat looks worse than any car I peeped into. Nissan's, Toyota's, Honda's, Ford's, etc. a 20 year old RX7, most of them look perfect, the one's that are strecthed are 10 years old or older, and they still look nicer than mine. I'd expect a little more for the 32K I just spent. And even more since this is a 2011 and if they knew about the problem with the 2010's you think they would have fixed it. I'm going to go down to the dealer later today, I'm just worried I'm gonna get the runaround and told it's normal. We'll see.
