To me a Corvette is a young single just landed a great job car OR most of what I see, a car for those that are close to retirement or retired. Every Corvette I see has grey hair behind the wheel.

Exactly. Vettes are singles or retirees. They are never for men with families. Camaros and Mustangs are for those with families.

I plan on having kids soon which is why I won't go buy a Vette. Hell, a Shelby won't even hold all the kids (GF already has a few, divorced). So, heck yeah it's a decision factor.
