ALSO - it looks like the TBSS rear axle is a 9.5" 3/4-ton TRUCK axle. I believe the ring gear size for Camaro is somewhere around 8.75", at best. NO - that's a really good comparison

Well, you didn't specify just CAMARO 4.10's are week. And yes, there are PLENTY of camaro's with 4.10's that are fine. Assuming GM doesn't put 4.10's in the Z28 (which I agree...they WONT), it's NOT going to be because of strength issues, but because the car isn't going to hook up which is a big issue.
