Most of you said it yourselfs to the modders when the SS came out and we started modding.

Personally i cant wait to see you guys get pulley pullers to get the sc pulley off when it takes us maggie guys 4 bolts in and out.

no one is saying the z28 is going to suck. I do believe some people will be let down by it after all the hype they built up.

What i am saying though is people who mod will look at your car and say cool a z28! We ask you owners what you have done and you say nothin keeping it stock, or i put on a cai ......... your not gonna hold our attention plain and simple.

And after what ive seen of sc on this car compaired to turbo results ........ its not a cool thing to buy a factory sc'd car, because from my point of view sc sucks and yes im a sucker who fell for the sc hype too. Personally for that 50k to be feasible i'de need to see an ls7 in it.
Fair points on the warranty aspect - SS owners did that as soon as they started bolting on blowers and the rest of the goodies, too. My point was that Z28, if it comes like it's looking like, will be substiantially faster than SS, so why not start off with as much as you can get? What - it's better to blow a warranty, reliability, and value on a $50K car a person is mod'ing just to conform to someone's idea of what respect for a car-guy means? Okay - if that's good for some people, more power to ya', but that doesn't mean squat for me.

I really don't think this thread is going to make sense to anyone who is of that opinion; that's fine. However, if it's going to turn into a bunch of bickering or hard feelings, maybe we should all step away from the computer, lol. Personally - I don't think you're a sucker for going the way you've described. It looks like an opportunity for you to work on your ride some more
