Whenever I park my car and lock it I always hit the remote once to lock and then a second time the horn will sound as an audible cue.

Periodically I will shut my door and hit the lock button once and the doors lock and then when I hit it the second time the horn will not sound and the locks just make noise like they are trying to lock again. If I unlock and open the door that was opened and shut it again with maybe a little more force the horn will sound the second time I hit the lock button.

Any ideas??
