Actually the Camaro outsold the Mustang last year, so YOU were the one following the herd and drinking the Kool-Aid.
To the OP, I'd say to drive both cars and put the most weight into that. After all, it's going to be YOUR car, not anyone else's. You have to make the payments, you have to drive it, etc. Get what
you want.
