Personally, warrenty doesnt matter at all to me, i think everyone should be able to work on their own car if anything happens to it and people really need to get off the warrently obsession bus already, but still, knowing the car is stock with all that and wasnt just done in someone's garage, gives a lot of peace of mind
OH and a lot of people over-look the fact that its not JUST a new motor you're getting, people who think "i'll just supercharge my SS and get the same thing" are dead wrong, it will have updated motor, transmission, clutch, suspension, tires, rim width, exhaust, gearing...everything about the car will be built to match the upgraded performance, the blower is just the tip of the ice berg and re-vamping an SS to match that level of performance would take a LOT more than the difference paid between $30k and $50k
