On Sunday Sept 26th, Long Island Corvette Owners Assoc (LICOA) will be holding their annual car & bike show to benefit veterans. The proceeds of this show will go to take the veterans that are hospitalized at the Northport Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center and transport them to Washington DC to visit their fallen friends (soldiers):flag1:. The veterans will actually be available for meet & greets, and all trophies will be awarded by veterans. This show is usually televised by News Channel 12. I'm hoping to get a good turn out for this show. If you pre-register BEFORE Sept 1st you will get a meal ticket, if you register after, meal tixs can be purchased for $6.00 + $25.00 entrance fee.
I have attached the flier/registration form below. I will have printed versions with me if you should see me at a show. Again, I'm hoping we can make a good appearance here, its for a great benefit. And of course we can do a cruise to this event for those that can attend if everyone wants.
