If there is any worries .. you can still get the automatic SS

.. it has the cylinder deactivation to help out around the city driving. If you want a manual, I think it has the 1st to 4th skip (which I will get rid of ...) which should help a bit .. I would say if you can afford it , don't let others make your decision .. get what you want

I have only owned manuals and I don't think they will have any shorter life on parts than an automatic for around town driving ..
