Yes, we were- LOL!! Glad you could view them

We had a lot of fun- hopefully we can bring some members next year.....they are hoping we might be able to actually go into the Oshawa plant for a tour. I guess it's not Oshawa that's the problem the "no go" is coming from Detroit. Camaro Scotty has footage of the convertible going by....we saw the 1SS Synergy Green....and I guess they had other "secrets" going on inside the plant with the convertible and Buick Regal.
Martinrea Ajax plant was more than welcoming to make up for it though. They put on an awesome event.....thorough plant tour (we could not take pictures or video tape).....great BBQ spread with tablecloths on table.....awesome car show with the members and local clubs...and they even set up a cherry picker for members to ride up and take aerial pics. Class act for sure. They let the workers break all at once and everyone viewed the cars and took pics.
Nurse Chevy welcomed us with open arms as well. They are going through a big remodel of their service dept...but they moved their entire huge inventory in the back of the dealer amongst construction for our cars to fill in for center stage. They also put on a BBQ and were great! They are a large volume dealer of GM workers and families and cater to GM employee discount.
We also enjoyed the Canadian Car Museum- the picts of the line up of Camaros along the mural was were we parked and took up the whole side road. The Red camaro with custom stripes was the Mayor of Oshawa's personal Camaro.
The hotel events were awesome (and sometimes wild) as well. BBOMG put on a really nice fancy dinner for us in the conference room Friday night and then on Saturday night we had a "party" in suites on the floor where most of us stayed with open bar and raffle goodies....this is where Josh won the signed book and chairs.
It was a great time- plan ahead and save some vacation days for next year guys it was WELL worth the trip. ~Lesleigh
