Seems like one of the aftermarket guys would design some AFM lifters that could take the higher lift, higher compression ratio, stiffer springs, etc.
The L99s pistons have valve reliefs. I’m told that the reason for the slightly lower compression. The valve reliefs provide more clearance when you start moving the cam around with the VVT.
