The block itself is probably based on the LS3, or maybe even the same....that is as far as bore, stroke, and cylinder spacing goes. The basic dimensions.

This new GEN V engine block might still be detuned to come in at or below the output of the LS3 if the Vette still has that engine while the Camaro gets the new engine.
