Would a salesman lie to make a sale? You can bet on it. On July 15th my wife and I found a Synergy Green Camaro that was used with only 1000 miles on it. I had read about them and thought they were cool. We took it for a test drive and we both loved it. But I wanted the SS, I did not want a V-6. The salesman put a huge push on my wife to buy it. They would not take a penny off the price and told us you will NEVER get Synergy Green again. He got to the point he would not even talk to me anymore, but pushed and pushed my wife to buy it. We of course left without it because I did want a Camaro but I only wanted an SS. I did not at that time know that in 2011 you could get it on any Camaro. I read on Camaro5 that night that someone just had their 2011 2SS order accepted in Synergy Green. I did more reading and found it was available for a short time on 2011's. The next day I called the salesman back and told him that it was available in 2011. He was kind of shocked that I knew, because I am sure he knew but did not tell me. So Yes, a salesman will say anything he can to make a sale.
About 5 days later I placed my order for a 2011 2SS which should be in next week.
