I`m sure everyone`s situation is different and i know every company looks at different things to determine their rate. Has a lot to do w/ how conservative their underwiriting is. The more conservative usually give a better rate for good drivers and older drivers but are high on the average risk and younger drivers. The Less conservative are usually higher on the older and good drivers in comparrison and lower for the average and younger driver. Thats why its always good to shop your insurance.
To my understanding though Geico and Progressive are the only 2 companies that are growing right now in this economy and everyone is looking to save a buck, so I think that says something right there. None the less I am w/ State Farm for my insurance and have been w/ them over 10 years and have my home, life insurance ect.. w/ them.. Geico was very close on the auto though when I was quoted by them about a year ago, Progressive was a decent amount higher but still not that far off. I do oplogize though to the OP if I am incorrect, but your thread seems to be a way to drum up business for your possible Insurance Agency...
