Oh please,the GT is probably 3-4 tenths of a second slower to 60 than the SS,so by your reasoning,the SS would even be in the same class as the V6,so wouldn't it be Chevy that would have dropped the ball?? This is a stupid argument,if you think 5 flat is in the ball park as 5.9,then you are negating any SS arguments over the GT because the GT is much closer to the SS in performance than it is to the V6.
Once again,narrow minded views on these cars. Look at the V6 Mustang,it puts up decent numbers......cold dead worthless magazine numbers......but it is an absolute snore to drive. Math is one thing,driving is another and if you think a V6 Camaro can give you the same viseral thrills of a V8 Mustang or Camaro,you are out of your mind. C'mon,use your brain,a V6 Altima can run with a LT1 Z28,but which is more fun???
The V6 Camaro will be a wonderful car,it will probably be a incredible car for the money,but a GT killer it will not be.
