Just acrylic paint ..name brand is ..folk art..thats the best brand to use..This does take some time to do but it is worth It.
No it does not smell like paint at all..Now all you do is take a small paint brush and paint the stiching and then take a rag with warm water and wipe the sides and only do the thread that is on the leather ,stop at the cloth.This paint is very easy to get off the leather but not the cloth..It will look like a mess when you do it but just wipe the side of the thread and it will come off.once you start doing it you will see how it works..and you may need to go over it a couple of times to get it fully covered..
