I'll take CAI for $300, Alex.
And the answer is... Do the CAI and use the sticky at the top of this forum of the Jannetty Racing CAI test results to form an opinion of which one you would want for your situation. Remember this, results from a CAI and headers are higher separately than when you put them together. What I am saying, let's use 14 HP for your CAI and 18 for your headers & hi flow cats or cats delete pipe. You would not see 32 HP gain total from them. Hasn't been a header test between BBK, ARH, and SW. I really don't like forming an opinion on what to expect as to which one makes the most HP and TQ. Some have posted their opinion that there wouldn't be much. So look at what you want. I have the SW 304 stainless. ARH also offers their header in 304 stainless. Some have gone with the BBK steel with a coating, although they offer it in stainless too.
If you are going in stages in your build, the CAI is the cheapest to buy. The tune will only turn off the check engine light that you will most certainly have with the headers. Better to put that money towards gears. There is an article in the transmission/rear end section about the V6 manual gears. Just do a search over there, don't recall who started the thread but he was giving props out to Apex Chase whom he purchased them from. So a search on that vendor would bring up the thread.
