Glad to see that the Halltech is only 4hp less than the CAI and ADM race.

Wonder what the Halltech would do with the ADM scoop. Do you think I would need to have the car re-tuned with the race scoop added? I'm wondering if it would be enough to change the A/F ratio.
Actually the Halltech Yellow Jacket tied the CAI intake on peak HP but had the higher peak torque (9lbs-ft vs. 7.7lbs-ft). Interesting that the IAT temps were 1 degree cooler for our intake even comparing it to the CAI with the add on scoop.

I think looking at just the intakes, without scoops, or tuning, Halltech is the leader.

Our Carbon Fiber intake fell on its face. Ted indicated that it was at +18% LTFs which puts open loop at way over 13:1 and knock retard, pinging....you know the drill. We have always stipulated that the Carbon Fiber unit needed MAF recalibration due to the 102mm cross section MAF read area.

Our testing showed a 4 HP gain with the Carbon Fiber Bumble Bee over the plastic Yellow Jacket. This with MAF re-cal only, and no other tuning tweaks.

The problem with the CF unit is it's extreme price vs. plastic.

I too wonder what happened to the famed Vararam?
