When I was a millwright in Detroit in the 70's we use to build tooling and machines years out before the cars were produced. So yes after the cars are released the other guys know exactly what your doing ...

i said the camaro was the man the first year... and i will make a bet that you wont be seeing the 6.2L naturally aspirated engine in the next time there a is big camaro update... i heard it will be a 5.5L... think about in 5 years how much more fuel efficient the cars will have to be... the goal is to make a engine that has more power then the 6.2L but using less gas..
