This is a way for them to generate money no matter how nice and polite you are. With the money troubles most states and counties are having right now, don't think you will not get pulled over for this and if you do, you will likely get a ticket for it. It is also a probable cause and you can get hit with more fines if they really want to.

Its unfortunate that the Texas Supreme Court, when interpreting the definition of 'front', was deciding a case that would have free'd a drug dealer.
btw, I believe that toll booth cameras read the front plates.
I've managed to go 7 months w/o getting pulled over, but if they step up enforcement I guess I'll have to rig up one of those tie wrap mounts.
