Attached are pictures of my way of providing additional fresh air to my Roto-fab CAI intake box. Step one: remove the L/H wheel well liner. Step two: remove factory windshield washer bottle. (Replace with bag type if you like at a relocated location. Step three: remove L/H fog lamp assembly. Step four: Install perforated cover plate and reinstall black trim piece. It takes about an hour or so and provides lots of fresh air to the air box. I know someone is going to ask what the perforated stainless steel cover plate is so I may as well take my licks up front..... It is a $3.99 stainless steel shower drain cover from Lowes
This is just for functionality at point, I'm really not working under a shade tree
. It will be very obvious even at a distance who has done this when the approaching Camaro has only the R/H fog lamp lighted. Who knows, it just might catch on and become a club. For now it's just me.
