Its kinda like a Harley Davidson, if somthing sounds "mean" it should BE mean. If your V6 SOUNDS mean but cant beat a V8 with an exhaust, your still gonna get laughed at and asked "that thing is modified?" Now if your runnin against other V6s then yeah, go for it. If your REALLY worried about insurance and gas milage, buy an aveo... you could always put an exhaust on it and have people ask "thats a 4 cylinder?"

wow...where to begin....
woopity doo that a v-6 wont sound like a v-8. its not supposed to. ya know what, the L99 wont sound the same when AFM is active as when all 8 cyls are running either. again.... woopity doo.
if something sounds mean, it should be. while I generally agree with that, just because it sounds mean doesnt mean it is. too many times ive seen/heard camswaps that they want a lopey idle so it "sounds mean" but dont pay attention to what they are getting power wise. hell, I could tune my car with the stock cam to get a lopey idle. and while it would sound great, it wouldnt do much for power.

a 300hp v-6 is nothing to gawk at. sure, its no 400hp v8, but its still a powerhouse for what it is. compared to the barely 200hp v-6s of yesteryear its a hell of a bargain.

tune this car or the LS3 in general? cus its been tuned on the vettes and the holden cars. tho, we dont have chips on these cars, just a tuneable pcm
Custom modular intake
Ported throttle body
Long tube headers
High flow cats (x2 on each side)
Resonator delete
Flowmaster Delta 40 mufflers

you planing on replacing the whole intake manifold? sure. might add a little for a lot of $$
porting the t/b might help, might not. ive seen instances where it actually messed things up. in fact, I just switched my LT1 back to the stock 48mm t/b from a 58mm as it was messing up some things with the computer with the idle and tps.
I will however be upgrading to an AS&M monoblade t/b when I finish my s/c project.
cats. if you know you arent going to be worried about emissions, why bother?
esp if you go with longtubes, as it will make it harder to get them to pass testing.
as far as the resonator delete, just get a CAI, that will/should take care of that.
flowmaster 40's.... dunno, might sound good, might sound like ass.
