One time was even better than a wave. I'm sitting at a red waiting to turn left, and an early green 4th gen is going down the street I'm waiting to turn on (the other way though), and when he sees my car, he honks and waves. It caught me off guard, but I returned the favor.
Another time, I was picking my cousin up from school, again waiting to make a left at a red, and this time, an early 4th gen Z28 convertible pulls up next to me. I look over, see the guy looking, and I give him a nod of approval.
What few 4th gen guys are out there are pretty cool people. I feel like I'm in a tight-nit community. Most of the people buying the new ones (sans the C5 members ) do it for the status or the newness/coolness of the car, but the 4th gen guys are the ones I feel really appreciate the car.
