It is a business decision. If Saleen can make the Camaro even more desirable to more Customers. That is all the better for everyone else who likes the car.

Get over the past, too many people are throwing out arguments based on not very objective looks at what can be done to improve a situation.

I say full speed ahead and let's boost the sales of this car.

Anything that helps any of the Detroit Three get more market share and improve business conditions is something we should all be supporting.!
I'll agree, the more "exposure" that the new Camaro receives, the better. And I have nothing against Saleen attempting to improve upon the Camaro. But speaking for myself, he, nor his offerings, have no interest from me.

Personally, I'd prefer something from Tom Henry, SLP, etc., who have always been "in GM's corner".

As for SLP, and their offerings as of late, since the Camaro's "hiatus", other than the G8 and GM/Chevrolet pick-ups, they haven't had alot to work with. I'm betting that'll change with the new Camaro and you'll see SLP highly involved once again.

As for the past, I'm sorry, but I have no interest in a person who has made negative remarks in the past, and is now looking to capitalize on a new product which he never was involved with in the past.

I'm all for the success of the Camaro and GM, as well as the Big 3. I just don't see Saleen being a big factor.
