One thought about 1/4 times. Off the line, the Camaro has a big power advantage over the 370z. However will the 275 section width be able to hold all that power. The 370z when equiped with 19" wheels will also come with 275 section width tires. This will give the 370z a better ratio of contact patch per pound of car. The added horsepower and especially the monster torque advantage of the Camaro off the line might not be able to be fully utilized. I still think that the Camaro will edge out the 370 in a strait line, but I think it will be very close. As far as going around a track, the 370 should have the advantage with two less seats, 600ish pound less weight to lug around. I will speak from experiance when I say that there is something I call percieved speed. There is something about being in a small car lower to the ground. This is an exageration, but imagine going around a track in a go-kart. Now go around the same track at the same speed in a full sized car and you will get a different experiance. The 370z might feel faster and might be more fun to drive fast, but time will tell who is really faster in different situations. I don't really feel that these cars should compete against each other because one is a 2 seater and one is a 4 seater, but I am sure that comparisons will come out as soon as the Camaro SS is available for testing.
