[Napper]

On this day i forgot my wallet....I visited a family member and was coming back home.
I was not sporting around, and was only a block from my house when a motorcycle cop radared me, stepped out into the road and waved me over.

Me: F***.

O: Liscence, registration and proof.

ME: Double F***

O: You know how fast you were going...?

ME: speed limit ,though i was distracted by my instrument panel, flashing a warning"
( total lie)!!

( i should have said someone lasered me with a green laser pointer since its in the news) good secondary excuse.


O: Where is your L,R and POI ?

Me: i am a block from my home, my document are there, i only went around the block to check the CEL
and my dash lit up and flashed me a code!!! ( i was scrambling to wiggle free!!)

O: Your dash is displaying the speed limit funtion, i see no code! Wait here... Name please.

So i wait for 5 minutes , i see him pull out his traffic CITATION book .

Oh boy!


Me: Triple F***


O: I'm gonna give you a warning on the speed!
You 'll have to mail a copy of the DL in with 10 bucks + the NON moving citation i'm giving you. ( DL not carried)
ANY Qestions????

ME: No sir....thank you.!

O: You might wanna check what a 15 mile over the limit would have cost you.


ME : Yikes! this guy gave me real break!!


I reacted polite, and abit aloof as to why i was pulled over.
plus ,confused as though something was amiss engine wise on the car.

(really though i was looking for a CEL as i changed out 02 sensors last week...but its fixed.... couldn't think of any other rational /logical reason i wasn't paying attention.) I 've found if you tell them there is a safty concern on a newer car they are sympathetic, although its no excuse....at least they know your weren't hot footing ..something about speeding and not enjoying it...lets the officer be merciful.

I figured i was getting a speeding ticket. To my surprise, motorcycle cops DO have a soul!! He could have easily wrote my FOUR tickets.

Time to invest in a radar -laser detector.
