Thanks Scotty, you must do the drive. I took these photos back in March/April and just recently went down rt. 66 again and noticed that a historic restaurant that I had photographed had burned down, so I thought I'd give the update. The drive from Joliet to St. Louis was even more interesting! If you haven't seen it already, check out that thread I posted back in March at:
