True. If the Camaro can squeek out a 12.9, that's not that close (GXP was a 13.0 so it might be possible). I expect the Camaro SS to handle well too (I wasn't aware of a .97 skidpad). The 370Z had a .99, that's pretty close. Maybe I'm not giving the Camaro enough credit, but the extra 600lbs over the Nissan is a big disadvantage to overcome. And while skidpad is important, there are many other factors that make a car handle well.

I hope the Camaro can hold its own against any car in the handling department, but I'm confident it will be superior compared to the other muscle cars.
