Here is the deal. First, as mentioned check your owners manual. You will see that many fluids are quite long intervals. Your oil will be what your oil life monitor us or no less than annually.
That being said there is nothing that prevents you from going above and beyond that with the only restriction being your budget.
Remember GM offers a 5 year 100,000 mile PT warranty so you can have a lot of confidence in the owners manual recommendation.
