If you are going to do a cam there are a few things to take into consideration to have longevity, dependability and drivability.

I had my cam changed and this is kind of a list of things that I had to buy for this install:

Cam
Dual Valve Springs
Trunion Kit
Hardened Push Rods.

It was also suggested that I put a Melling High Volume Oil Pump in when I did this. I did and amd gals since there is a TSB out for the oil pumps now.

I installed headers, hf cats, cam, cai, and the above items when this was done, plus new plugs, oil change and a couple of other things like dyno tuned, underdrive pulley etc...


It cost me around 4000.00 maybe a little less for everything parts and labor which is not too bad. I increased from about 360 rwhp to about 450 rwhp and you can tell a big difference.
