Both the Pioneer and Sirius Starmate radios I have in my old car had the option of switching preset radio stations by use of the up / down scan buttons. You can use the up / down buttons to recall radio station frequencies assigned to preset tuning buttons. When you continue to press the up button after you hit the last preset for that favorites set, it goes to the next favorites set.
For example, the up button would go through presets Fav1-1, Fav1-2, Fav1-3, Fav1-4, Fav1-5, Fav1-6, Fav2-1, Fav2-2, etc.
The only button similar to the up / down button on the base Camaro radio are the two SEEK buttons. When I am on one of my XM favorites sets, the SEEK just goes through one XM station after another rather than going through one preset after another.
The reason I'm asking is that when I'm driving, I prefer to hit one button that will allow me to cycle through all of my presets. As it appears now, to go to the next preset, you have to know what preset button is currently pressed in order to press the next one. That requires my eyes to be off the road.
Is there some secret radio setting which will change how the SEEK button functions? The MENU/SELECT button performs the one station at a time function so the SEEK should be able to select presets instead.

Kinda would like to know if anyone was able to get this working too. I'd prefer the steering wheel controls to seek through the xm stations, rather than presets... at least until i find stations that i actually like...
