For all you members out there that wish you owned a camaro (or mustang/challenger) at one point in time, how did you put up with it?
Dont get me wrong I love my car. Cameron is comfortable but quick in a straight line and sounds incredible. Only problem is she weighs 3700 LBS and even with my mods only pumps out about 245 BHP. Also it has a LEXUS 5 SPEED AUTO WHICH SHIFTS WAYYYYY TO SLOW AND SMOOTH FOR ME! My two best friends just went from owning a piece of junk avalanche and trail blazer to a 2010 GT and 370z (respectively) and both are manuals.
It should be noted that I am a huge car fan in the first place so naturally point out every fast car that I drive by and wish i had a clutch pedal every time my car shifts. But for the camaro these symptoms worsen

. I find myself reciting the SS stats to my friends at least once a day, drool and point every time one drives by and have already selected my future camaro's paint job and mods (if i ever get one). I can also tell you that on a 4 hour road trip this weekend 8 camaro's passed me in oncoming traffic and 2 of them where SS.
In short I am obsessed and consumed by all that is camaro, which is why I am a member here in the first place.
So my question is how do I put up with this want to get a camaro more than anything else in the world? Because unless I get some sort of miracle scholarship my parents cant afford college and a camaro.

They said if i go to OU instead of all the other schools that I like that they would use the 40k a year that they would save to buy me the camaro of my choice! I actually considered going to a college that I cant stand just so I can have a camaro
I know that we cant all have our dream cars but the camaro is different. Id also love to have a V10 Audi R8 but that car is way too expensive and out of my leauge. But the camaro is within grasp!
So to all of you that at one point in time dreampt of owning a camaro, how do you deal with wanting one so badly?
