This is one of those questions where you can ask 20 different people and get 20 different answers. Truth is...nobody really knows. If you have ever had the chance to walk into an assembly factory...you will see the guy sitting at engine final assembly starting the motors up and running the engines to redline in every gear before placing the motor on the rack for final assembly into the car itself. Most newer high performance cars come with synthetic already in the motor. I personally had my first oil change at 3,000 miles and it came out pretty clean. Personally IMO as long as you don't beat the piss out of it...you should be fine. Keep a regular scheduel for oil changes or wait for the dash to tell you to do so...it's your choice. Good luck
