I believe I was told they are getting a 500+ parking space lot paved this month. Yes, there will be plenty of room.
Also, we organized security for 4 hotels on two nights during last years fest. We will have police officers hired again to keep an eye on our cars and make sure the peckerheads stay out of the area.
Yes. Unfortunately, last year we had someone try to literally rip out rear side markers from someones Camaro. I don't recall who the member was, but we were all pissed.
On a different note, during the official Camaro unveil at Indy in '08, someone stole Matt's exhaust tips off his Trans Am.
We are going to have low down pieces of sh!t no matter where we go. It's how we come together to watch out for each others cars that matters. Normally, if a criminal is going to do something, he/she won't want to do anything if someone else is around and watching.
So, we need to keep an eye on each others Camaros and "stuff." We will have uniformed police officers at our hotels. However, as we all know, one officer can't cover it all 100% of the time (unless conditions and staging that officer in a sniper tower with a high powered....err...disregard...getting a lil' carried away...
