Methanol cools very quick, however it does burn. We sell alot of kits to high powered diesels, what do you think happens when they run 100% methanol and they are towing? EGT goes out of control. add 50% water and EGT drop like a rock.
Customers need to take safety factors into play when deciding what mixture to run. 100% methanol boils around 147F and is very flammable. Personally I believe in running a mixture of methanol/water, but everyone has an opinion.
