JAB, getting it off the old grill is EASY, especially since you are going to put the heritage grill on. Once you get the original grill off, there are 4 tabs on the back side of the bowtie that are EASY to get at with the grill off, and you jsut pust them threw. The back one is held on with double-sided tape. use a piece of either deltal floss, or fishing line and work it under the bowtie and use a sawing motion, then use some WD-40 or rubbing alchol to remove any tape residue, then rewax that area, seeing as how you have a 2011, there are no holes on the back bowtie.

as far as putting the old style SS on the front, you should talk to Chris at our next meeting, as he has done that on his.
