However, we were approached about offering 100 'special' Camaros - and we found it intriguing. Let me also assure you that if you knew how much it costs to validate a special paint, your hair just might fall out!

Very true. When Ford brought back the Thunderbird for 2001 in the spirit of the original 1955 T-Bird convertible, N-M had a special edition made for them as well. There were only 100 N-M editions, and they were priced around $80k when the stock Thunderbird was only about $40k.
