Would you drink and drive if you knew that you would spend 1 month in jail? That after the third time you could spend 1 year or 5 years in jail?
The person that hit and killed my girlfriend served all of 3 months in jail. For KILLING someone. He as much as went and bought a gun and put it to her head and pulled the trigger when he got in the car to drive drunk. For those of you that think drunk driving isn't a problem...remember that.

I agree totally, that also goes along with other crimes... we are way to relaxed on our justice system. I prefer the ole "eye for an eye" theory..
