It's just you, lol. All kidding aside it could be the particular(Volant) CAI you have or the tune. The only ways to really find out is:

1. Take it to the track and test both.
2. Put it on the dyno to see which one make more power and where.

I think New Era sells just the tube for those that want to keep their stock box.
