I said (and I know what I said, because after all, I said it), that some folks here must have a set of brass balls to sit here and knock somebody for something that we all most likely did at some point in our lives. Meaning that back in the day, when we were all younger and crazier, no responsibilities, we had fun, and most likely a large portion of us drank alcohol and drove. I'll admit it.. I have. Then you go into a friend in need blah blah blah.. Let me tell you something else that you don't know about me, and obviously what you don't know is alot. I drive limo part time, and work security part time, as well as work for new york state govt. I'm a paid designated driver. On top of that, all, and I do mean ALL of my friends don't hessitate to call me if they have a few too many and need a ride home at any time any day, as they have driven for me when I drank. I believe you of all people here, really need to lighten up the most. Have a nice day!

And, some of us had something happen when we were young enough that we DIDN'T do the stuff you're saying everyone does.
Fortunately, not everyone's girlfriend gets killed when you're 17 years old. I'm glad you never had to go through that.
It is not, however, justification for Drunk Driving to sit and make excuses for it "because everyone does it". As I've said before, it would not make me sad at all to see ANY drunk driver plow into a tree and kill themselves before they kill someone else. The problem is that those drivers that do kill someone else usually survive without even breaking a bone or hurting themselves.
