Couple of observations re: Camaro @ Detroit Show

First:

Wow...I'm assuming this one is pretty close to production. Interior is outstanding. By my estimation, just about everything appears top notch. I would even venture to suggest the seat design outdoes the vette...I can wait to see how it 'fits'. It may sound silly, but one thing that disappoints me about the vette is the steering wheel (same design shared with G6, etc...blech). The Camaro (while not perfect IMO) is outstanding..unique design, nice and tight, fat, and looks like it will feel fantastic in the hands. We've seen this for awhile, but I've been holding my breath hoping it would remain unchanged. If I owned a vette...I'd be swapping out my pontiac style wheel pretty quickly.

Second:

WHAT IS UP WITH THE PLACEMENT OF THE HOOD LIFT???? SCOTT SETTLEMIRE!!!!! As much attention to detail as was paid to this car and you mount it on the INSIDE of the strut tower?!??!?!?!?!? The 'cheap' strut tower brace upgrade is now not such an easy proposition. No a big huge hairy deal...but still... :( (and PS...thanks for everything else )
