it's just annoying when little details aren't needed but are tossed in to just show off...
it's childish, and i suppose that makes sense being his age but it's hardly a detail that's really needed unless he's trying to push home a point of how young he is. honestly, is there any point in us knowing he's 16 other then him making himself feel special?
could have easily sufficed with a "it was my birthday today and i got a..."
just saying.
