Hello Members, I have some news for everyone. It seems as there is a lot going on towards the end of the year as far as get togethers for our 5th Gen Camaro's and if you have been reading the board, you have seen some of the invitations. Greg and I have been discussing this for a few weeks and have decided to cancel the November 12th meet at the Track in Reynolds
and join up with the SGMP Meet November 19 - 20th at Valdosta, GA. Yes, the same location as Camaro5Fest was held in April.
I know some of you are probably disappointed, but I honestly feel that this will be a better event for us to attend. The information is below:
SOUTHEAST REGION - END OF YEAR BLOW-OUT
SGMP Valdosta, GA November 19-20, 2010
Resistration Fee - $20 per car: this covers the police escort and armed security for our cars for the two nights.
The Host Hotel:
Holiday Inn Valdosta Conference Center (same as C5Fest)

For those on a tighter budget:
Days Inn or Super 8 (next door to host hotel)

Friday Night - We will start with some meetin, greetin, eatin, and streetin. Cruising - to coin the phrase from Tusk.
Police escorted cruise at 6:00pm with the same route as April's Fest - about 20 miles that will end at Austin's Restaurant for Dinner.
Saturday - SGMP gates open at 10:00am with time trials and grudge racing from 11:00am - 4:00pm. Tim at SGMP is setting up some special races just for us Camaro Folks with a trophy to the winners.
$25.00 to Race / $10 for Spectators
Then back to the Host Hotel for more Meetin, greetin, and deciding on a place for eatin.
Sunday: Meet & Greet until you depart for home.
